Who is the Real David Mejias? Attorney David Mejias knows first hand the struggles of life and the innate tenacity that helps people succeed. He was born to politically exiled Cuban parents, and their struggles of trying to rebuild their lives while instilling a sense of gratefulness and pride for the opportunities they were given as American citizens. David’s Cuban heritage made him the target of bullies throughout his life. These life long struggles made David conscious of the theory that all men are created equal and should not be judged lest they be judged themselves. After graduating from SUNY Albany for his bachelor studies, David gained entrance to the esteemed Fordham Law School; he graduated at the top of his class with exceptional accolades and went on to pass the New York State Bar examination and began working towards making a difference in the legal arena.
